I think it might be a permissions problem
as I don't get an option to
specify netbackup machines in the "backup/archive and restore" GUI.
I am running netbackup datacenter version 3.4.1GA
I have logged on as root to this but there seems to be quite
a lot of options...
I am a new user to netbackup(ver3.4.1GA) and I am having trouble trying to do a restore on the client. I have the client running on
win2000. The problem is when I go to the "backup, archive and restore" it doesn't give me options to change anything.
I can only look at the master server...

I was beginning to thing the same thing.
I have gone through these before and
I am getting the same error messages.
Before you did a re-installation
did you try to move the catalog path?
Can you let me know if you did
before I start a re-installation.

I am running BE on windows 2000 server and
am getting this error while cataloging.
The catalog returns succesful but
when I go to restore files from the media it says I cannot
restore until I catalog the tape.
I am hoping that someone has seen this before and
can let me know how to resolve it...
