    I see no delay (via modem) on Your memu upon closing other window. No new loading of images from net. Local problem maybe?

    MSIE doesn't use preload on Your page - neither does any other browser. Tested with MSIE-5, Opera-7.20, Mozilla-1.4.1 & Firebird-.6.
