    Duplex VoIP?

Echo canceller is set to 48ms on both sides. Gain levels are set to 0 on both sides.

    Duplex VoIP?

Both sides are set for G.711A as priority 1 and G.729A as priority 2. (Probably not related but home offices using an IP-EXT card work OK when talking at the same time).

    Duplex VoIP?

Is there a setting somewhere to duplex VoIP? I have to offices with a 16 channel VoIP card in a TDA600 and TDA200. Both sides also have the echo canceller installed. If both parties are talking at the same time, they can't hear each other because the audio cuts out.

    PRI vs T1?

We have a KXTDA600 with several KXTDA0170 DHLC8 cards and ELCOT16 cards. We are switching to a metro-ethernet voice/data solution, that function like a voice T1 (RJ45 interface). What's the difference in using a KXTDA0290 PRI card and a KXTDA0187 T1 card? Do I need any additional cards to...

    VoIP kills network?

We are trying it without VPN at this time to rule out any firewall issues. The MTU is set to 1500 on the Netopia 3346N DSL modem - revision 7 firmware in the problem branch. The next hop however is set at 1492 and cannot be changed. Running the modem's diagnostic tests show everything is OK...

    VoIP kills network?

Thanks for the tip, but it looks like this particular model modem doesn't have an auto restart feature. We did find out that the network dies after making an outbound intercom call using VoIP. The third branch listed in post 1 is also using DSL, but does not seem to be experiencing this problem.

    VoIP kills network?

I have 4 branches that are now using VoIP Gateway cards. One branch has a TDA600 on a T1 - works fine. The second has a TDA200 on a T1 - works fine. The third has a TDA100 on DSL - works fine. The fourth has a TDA100 on DSL through AT&T. In the fourth branch, as long as the VoIP Gateway card...

    default IP gateway card

I have a TDA-0484 VoIP Gateway card (in a TDA600) and I don't know the IP address was previously assigned to the card. Is there a way to default the card so I can get back into the programming interface?

    IP-EXT install help

Have a KXTDA600 and want to install the TDA0470 IP-EXT-16 card. We couldn't get the our IP-GW card to work over a VPN and had to make it public (and works fine). Can the IP-EXT card also be a public address? If so, does the IP-phone have to have a public IP address?

    VoIP via PBX drops

The sonicwall devices provide the VPN as well as firewall services. There are a few settings (that didn't do anything when played with) for H232, which would indicate sonicwall is "aware" of that protocol and supports it. (There are also a few settings for SIP).

    VoIP via PBX drops

The firmware was the latest on both ends, and we reduced overhead as much as possible. Resolution was bypassing the sonicwall completely. Sonicwall support does not know why it works that way. Both branches scored a MOS rating of 4 (out of 4.5) from the speed test link in one of the posts above.

    TDA600 VoIP drops calls

Bypassed the sonicwalls, and it works fine.

    TDA600 VoIP drops calls

We're in the process of reconfiguring the PBXs after placing them in front of the sonicwalls. Is it safe to leave them public?

    VoIP via PBX drops

So far I can tell the following protocols are being used... HTTP TCP 80 RTP/RTCP UDP 5004-5011 H.225.0 Call Signaling TCP 1720 H.245 TCP 1712-1724 H.225.0 RAS UDP 1719 But all of these ports are open and there is no NAT since the PBXs are using private IPs. The firewall logs shows no traffic...

    TDA600 VoIP drops calls

Our corporate HQ has a Panasonic TDA600 PBX, and a remote office has a Panasonic TDA200 PBX - both have the IP Gateway card for VoIP. On both sides, the next hop of the PBX is a sonicwall firewall, and the second hop is the Internet Provider's router. The branches are connected via VPN with a...

    HELO

When I telnet into my 2003 Exchange server, the HELO message's FQDN is showing the server's internal domain. Is there a way to fix it so it gives the external domain?

Running Exchange 2003 SP2 with Symantec Mail Security. Inbound and outbound emails containing Excel files with scripts are getting bounced with the following error: "Error 552 MS-Office file containing VBA macros found inside of the email".
