On behalf of my Main Parts supplier I have an obscure HDD problem.
They sold 2 x Epox 4PDA2+ motherboards (from different batches) to a client who normally uses Gigabyte.
When any IDE HDD is placed on the IDE RAID controllers on either mbrd, Windows XP blue screens on Bootup. Even if XP loaded...

1. Tried different cable (it supports USB) both parallel & USB - no effect
2. Reloading software has no effect
3. Different printers work OK

1 Laptop running XP Home
1 PC running XP Home
1 PC (used as server) running Win ME
*Win ME system has Sage Line 50 installed and client does not want to move it to other PC's so installing it on another is out.
2. When either of the XP machines is first turned on/rebooted...
