    Back to fundamentals, make sure your target server is connected at 100Mb Full Duplex (with switch port forced as well). Also, the system driver is always slow as mentioned due to too many small files. Use lots of filters to get rid of user.dmp, memory.dmp etc (dump files for system crashes)

    500 MB/min is about the max throughput for a 100Mb/Full duplex connection. I suggest your bottleneck is a single LAN connection somewhere.
