Is there a way in Flash to code a movie so that when it is used on different pages it will continue playing on the new page where it left off on the old page?
(example: web site has 5 pages. Same flash movie is placed on each page. When user clicks to go to new page, the same movie continues...
thanks for all your advice. now I think it's a platform issue. I can't get it to work on my mac. At this point, it's not so important, as I've reduced the size of my graphic so that it appears completely without need of scrolling, even on lo-res monitors.
...sounded like the perfect solution, but it's not working for me (see http://www.simplydesign.net/capitalcity). I'm checking this in Netscape 7.0 & IE 5.0 on the Mac. Could you see if I'm leaving anything out? (or could it be a browser issue?)

As to why I need to do this in frames versus a single page... that's a separate issue. The "graphic" I have in the left frame is actually a looping Flash...
