    laptop turn offs

    Hello, I have a laptop and the fan blows out hot air a lot of the time. A lot of the time the laptop turns off by itself. I just shuts off. What is the cause of this...I think it is due to the fact that it gets very hot and the Laptop shuts off. What is the matter? Thanks

    corrupt or missing file

    what if after i typed in "r" to restart the computer, it reboots and return me to the prompt type r to restart from CD. (I am havin the same problem. I do not have Recovery console. I have changed the BIOS to read from Cd already, but it gives me a loop). I cannot get in to DOS...

    Hello, I have a laptop and the internal one is not running XP any more. I want to format it but everytime i turn on the computer, it gives me an error saying it missing s file. Now, if I get an external harddrive (I think my BIOS can detect it since I have a optical mouse and it detects it)...
