Swich power to back-up drive.
Is this a PC or a server? Most PC O/S's have a power-saving option that spins down HD's when they're not used for a certain period of time. If this is a server, then my comment would be...who cares about the power the HD is using?- scottf03

ntbackup question
We use the ntbackup command for our nightly backups on a few compaq servers. My problem is this: One of the servers has recently started to overload one tape, i.e. the backup stops (almost at the end) and asks for a second tape.
