you might have to manualy apply setting to the card I had same proble with my isa pnp usr56k modem basicly what I did is:
1. pnpdump > /root/dump.txt
2. vi /root/dump.txt
3. found the modem entries and uncommented the desired settings for my modem.
4. next i used the isapnp command like this...
I have an adaptech AHA1542cf SCSI host card no PNP. when installing 7.2 when i go to select SCSI driver it wont let me change the default dma channel the card is set to 5 options are 0 5 6 7 on the card bios mandrake's default is 4 how do i change this any help is good.
If any one can help great.
Problem is that I have this adaptech AHA-1542CF SCSI host adapter card. and I can't get my linux box to use it. I have tried using the boot cd of of mandrake 7.2 and letting DrakConf do the work but of course the card is not PNP. I can manualy set the I/O on the card...
