To help differentiate EDI versus standard Delivery and Invoice addresses, our team wishes to add two new Address Types (EIV and EDC). How can this be done? I tried going in through SQL and manually adding the new types, but they didn't display when creating a new Address for a customer.
For 99.9% of users, dgillz is correct in that this is not the preferred way to handle this, but depending on business rules you may find the way I ended up doing it useful.
We (as a business rule - I cannot change that) have a small group of people whose only ability is to see some fields on the Item Master for an existing item to modify MRP parameters. Upper management does not even want them to see some of the data on the other tabs. I had previously just hid...
This for an account for planners to only change min/max and related info. The item will have already been set up by someone else with all the tabs. Essentially, this is for a view-only account except for some stuff on the purchasing tab.
Thanks for the response.
All the controls on the tab have been hidden using the screen designer, so I felt it would be cleaner to just hide/remove the entire tab. I cannot see how to do this from the screen designer nor from Flex.
Fixed this myself following some more mucking about (funny how I fixed this right after posting after I have fought it for several days now). With crtbegin_dynamic included, you mustn't specify an entry point in your LDFLAGS.

I am developing a command line app (to be run from the shell provided by the Android Debug Bridge [ADB] tool), but the command line arguments are not available via argc/argv in main(int argc, char *argv[]), and a call to basename(argv[0]) simply returns ".". Other than that the application runs...
I arrived at work this morning to find out that our primary server experienced multiple hard disk failures over the weekend. I have installed Windows Server 2000 on another system as a backup just so people can log in again to access files/applications on other servers. However, after install I...
I have written a program that fills text fields and makes combobox list selections in another running application. It works fine as long as the remote program has the tab pages on a tab control containing the fields I am filling active. If another tab is selected in the remote application, my...
I have a crystal report created inside the .NET design IDE, and I am assuming this report is now embedded in the application (perfectly fine - and preferred - in this case). I have an OLE object in the report that I wish to use to allow me to change the picture (a corporate logo) at runtime.

REC-TYPE, I assume I can use a detail record for every record/entry in the flat file.
UNQ-SEQ-NO - Is this the seq_no from progression, or just a unique number in the specific flat file?
UNIT-COST - Is this required for O/E Shipping?
Thanks,

Thanks. While we don't use many of the features you mentioned, I believe quickship would solve a lot of potential headaches by automating the items you mentioned - epecially in the Pervasive.SQL world (potential locked records stopping info from being updated, etc). What is the quickship flat...
I have tried to unhide/show the email field on the Customer Maintenance screenset, but I cannot locate it. I only see it under the Alternate Address screen. Am I just overlooking something simple? Thanks.
