    Thanks for you help it was a DNS error and it was down to the ISP which is now resolved. Thanks once again

    I have a PC with a static IP addres

    I have a PC with a static IP address on the internet connection through a router with a static I can ping www.yahoo.com and www.microsoft.com but nothing in IE. Any ideas as I am stumped, I have double checked the settings and the ISP say everything is correct.
