Just set up an VPN tunnel between the two and place a VCM module in each based on the call volume. We have numerous sites running Cisco PIX VPN's with all calls coming into the central location and then being routed to the appropriate extension, etc. Most of our remote sites have DSL and we...
We have a database that runs as a standard .mdb file. No mdw's anywhere. When we open the database, it prompts for a password, which we have and enter. However, F11 doesn't work, nor does any other attempt to view the tables. We have been running the database for quite sometime and would...
I had zero experience with these things up until yesterday. My company manages over 150 tunnels for various clients and my Cisco Engineer went on haitus. If someone could list the commands that I need to enter by looking at my configs above I would greatly appreciate it. I no how to login...
Since I am changing the IP address on the internal interface of each of the 501's, I will need to recreate the tunnels. Looking at my configs above, can someone write me the commands to delete the existing tunnels and bring them back up as new tunnels. I am assuming something will need to be...
Without going out to each remote site, how do I check to see if the tunnels are up while logged into the headquarters 506? Below are the configs from the headquarters 506 and one remote site - BCL 4, a 501. If I needed to redo the tunnels what commands would I use? Our Cisco Engineer is on a...
Is anyone willing to provide a config that will work? We will pay for it. It is for a client, and we are too swamped to address at this moment. I can provide complete specs on the network items involved.
We manage a 10 node network with a 501 (DSL 768 both ways)at each remote site and a 506 (Dedicated T-1) at the headquarters. The 506 is plugged into a Catalyst 3750 with enhanced software on it (I think EIM?). Since we have our mail server sending traffice across the 506 and our Avaya VoIP...
We have a 3750G we just dropped in. Hanging off it are 2 2970's. I want to enable QoS, and set the uplinks voice packets to have the highest priority on the LAN/WAN. We have 1 2970 across a Tsunami 45 wireless connection. Everything has been working fine; however, I am concerned that a large...
I am going with a VCM 10 at both sides. It will be about an hour before I start the config. Had some other issues on the network. ...let you know how it is going.
Will a single channel VCM card work, or will I need more? Does the unit create a Voicechannel for every user, including the digital users at the 403 side, when they are on the phone?
If possible, could I call you if I have problems. I am a vendor in Vegas.

No, I did not have a VCM1 in the 403. Thanks for the insight. I will have one shipped overnight. In the meantime I have a VCM 10 I can temporarily use. I don't need any licensing other than PMPro user licenses, do I? I can just point the 403 to the license server that the 406 is using.
Client had 10 2420 phones on the shelf so I will use them for most of the phones and 2 4620 phones for the rest. Also, they are bridged using a Tsunami 45 so the are all on the same subnet. How do I connect the 403 to the 406 using the ethernet ports, and how can I keep the users with the same...
Current Scenario:
Headquarters with 50 2420 phones and an IPO 406
8 Construction sites with 2 4640 phones each
Network is a Cisco PIX 506 at the headquarters and Cisco PIX 501's at 6 job sites. I have also deployed a Tsunami 100 (100mb full-duplex wireless bridge) that serves as a backhaul to...
Thanks for all of the help. CrashTest1000 got us up and running. The default "password" was our major problem after getting the unit up the first time. Right now we are testing all of our remote sites' 4620 phones. So far all is well. Again, thank you everyone.
