Hello, I am working on a 624. I had to move all the exts on to CO 2 as CO 1 had failed. Now I have a problem in that only the master phone will ring but all the other exts only flash LED's. Can anyone point me in the right direction in enabling the other phones to ring. All help appreciated.

I am looking at the above PBX, the system rings once and then drops the call. The system will still make outgoing calls and transfer around the house. The exchange line is fine as I have tested with an analogue phone. Any ideas please.

I am instaling a 6-16 Norstar. It has 1 line incoming 8 ext out. Is there any way of queing new callers when the line is busy.

Hi, i have just moved a friend's Meridian from there old offices to new offices. There are 5 in/out lines all new numbers, is there any way to program the numbers to call another line if one is busy??? All help greatfully appreciated.

Thanks for the replies, so basically I am going to order 5 lines, connect them as before. And then just issue one or two of the telephone lines as the main number to call??? And the other 3 lines just used as incoming/outgoing???

It is an analog BT stand alone answerphone, not built in to the system. Can I add an ATA to an ext with a 7310 handset, and then analog out of the ATA into the answerphone???

I want to add it to a phone with an 7130 administrators handset. Is this possible.

How do I install an analog answerphone, onto a Norstar compact system. All I want to do is add the answerphone onto 1 of the extensions. All help appreciated.

Yeah I have no problem from the digital side, I also swapped them over and tried the Digi through analog and could here something, but nothing from analog, I have also tried swapping around pin-out's, I am starting to wonder if I have a duff ATA.

Yeah, thanks for responding, I have installed an external ATA to an extension, i.e. jumpered onto 2&5 on the telephone plate digital side, connected to the telephone in on the ATA, taken connector of the out to a new tele plate jumpered onto 3&4, but my problem is no dial tone on the analog...

Does anyone know much about the Norstar ATA 2??
