new built pc very slow
Hi, the mobo came with the cpu onboard out the box, so the cpu, heatsink and fan were already in place. i'll check the temps in the bios. Thanks- caleyman

is my hard drive faulty
I just built a new pc and installed a 40gb seagate 7200 hard drive and did a clean install of windows xp home. when i boot the pc it takes about 5 minutes to get to the desktop and it takes 30 secs to a minute to open applications. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks.- caleyman

can anyone help. just built a new pc specs are pc chips M810L mobo with athlon 1800xp cpu 256 mb sdram, sound, and graphics all onboard. also installed 40gb hard drive, and 52x cdrw. did a clean install of windows xp which took about 12 hours to install and now the pc takes about 5 minutes to...- caleyman
