The <> messages are typically NDR or (Non Delivery Report) messages from the Postmaster. Most often, this is what is called NDR spam which is a loophole in the RFC. The fix in Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 is a third party utility such as Praetor from cmsconnect.com or Mailsweeper. The best...- alanmalm

The Bluestell messages are authenticated spam. Someone has compromised your systems and have one of your usernames and passwords. That is how they are getting in. In Exchange 5.5, if you go to Exchange Admin - Internet Mail Service - Routing tab - Make sure it is set to "Reroute" -...- alanmalm
