    what is Level 2 halted ?

    The read() failed with the error number set to 44 in solaris 8. The errno.h says it is "#define EL2HLT 44 /* Level 2 Halted*/" Please give the meaning of this error, cause and solution. Thanks & Regards Ramkumar T
