Hi, I hope someone out there can help, here is my problem and I'm out of my depth.
I have an access 2003 database that generates a number of specific record reports, however I have been asked to increase the number of print options so the end user ultimately selects a printer from a combo box...
I copied and pasted to a new query and clicked Run.
Based on your last query I experimented with your original union query which actually works with the new code see below.
I called your last query Barry as that is who it is for and kept my original PS_Two
As it now works in the format below...
Thank you for the response unfortunately I get the following error:
You hve tried to execute a query that does not include the specified expression "Illustration ID" as part of an aggregate function.
I have changed the first line to different variable names as you suggested and that works, however it does not indicate where it is falling over i just get the error box up once it has asked for the dates , which it is picking up from the existing queries.
However if I remove query 3 and query...
That fixes the error however I now get a different error...
The expression is typed incorrectly or is too complicated to evaluate. For example a nummeric expression may contain too many complicated elements. Try simplifing the expression by assigning aprts of the expression to variables

I am sorry, I cant get it to work. I now get a circular reference. I have converted your text into the actual variable names and query names. I will therefore post all 4 queries below and amended code. I would really appreciate it if you could spot the error, as I am sure it is my inexperience...
Hi,
I have spent the last day trying to resolve this one without success.
I have 4 separate queries that report on a range of consultants on their individual daily activity. What I want to do is combine all sets of results into one master query for export.

Query 1
Consultant ID...
I have set up a contacts list with extra defined data within Outlook 2000. I then want to use the mail merge facility to extract data from the Outlook 2000 contacts file to use.
When I use the mailmerge facility in Word , it only brings up the original defined fields for merging and not the...
I have designed a custom contact form that has all specific details for our company. How do i configure outlook to use this custom form instead of the default form built into outlook, so when we click new contact it uses the custom form and not the outlook 2000 file.
I have just had to change my PC following the destruction of my last one. I have a database running that I chose to hide a number of the Forms, Tables , Macros and Modules on my old machine. They however appeared in the database window is a lighter colour. However of course I cannot display...
Thank you again, I was planning to try that but having seen loads of code on tek tips ,it gave the impression that the name would automatically return the email address. I can now go forward and complete my work. Thank You.
Thanks for the clarification. I was hoping there was a way to use a persons name so as if their email address changed then it would be automatically updated without the need to go back into the code and physically change it
I seem to be struggling to get access 2000 to use the email address that is taken from my Contacts in Outlook.
So far I have linked the table in outlook into access, but when i put in a 'persons name' in the field below, i get an error saying the contact is unknown despite it being in the...

My Code: (Don't Laugh)
Function Test()...
Jim Thanks for that. 99% there.
I have slightly adapted what you sent me so as to automate the Illustration ID starting point . This is because when a consultant is given the software he selects his name thus setting the Consultant ID. I have therefore taken the value of the Consultant Id...
