    Cheers Mato, Since writting this I noticed the imporvement of setting the scanner to 1200. this still isnt the best as I have to remove moire @ 40 - 60 percent and then remove grain @ 40 - 60 percent. So the scaner is the one. Can you recommend one for me ? Cheers. Ron.

    Hi, I'm new to this but need some advise please. Just scanned some pro quality slides using an HP scanjet and slide adapter. Scanned in @ 300 res with low sharpness. Putting it in PS7 I cant seem to get rid of the background grain. Scanning as Tiff first, I then scale down adjusting image...
