It seems that the drive was damaged when I removed it. The worst was that I tried another drive with the same problem. It was only on the third drive that I did not receive the error.

I have a 3.5" and a 5.25" drive connected to a Pentium I machine.
I removed the floppy drive, rebooted the machine to do some stuff. When I reintstalled the 5.25" floppy I get a floppy failure on boot-up.

I would like to create a report from within VB. i have defined a report variable as CRAXDDT.Report and assigned a report to it. I use the report designer within VB.

I had a similar problem when I was passing a date value to a stored procedure from VB. Try cconverting your parameter value/s to a string and then passing it. This worked fine for me.
Note : SQL must be able to convert the string value back to the data type required for this to work.
