Do you host your own internal DNS? There could be a static entry for your domain in there that is causing this. Check your DNS servers for this.

That is your web service in IIS. Have you configured IIS and Web Services to run? I had a similar issue when testing out Exchange 2003 with out having IIS web services installed.
