exporting pivot tables
The only way I have found to get a pivot table into Excel from Access is to actually save the query as a Select query and open Excel and go to "Data", "Get External Data" and "Create new query" You will then link to the query that produces the data you want in the...- KK1967

Repairing Database all the &%$# Time
have you ever compacted the database? I had the same problem a while back. I upgraded my pc to Office XP and did a compact and repair once or twice and never had the problem again. I may have just been a fluke but an idea :)- KK1967

Linking Secured Databases
The default workgroup information file is stored locally and that may be why. This may be something obvious and you have probally looked at that option, but with the info given, thats all that comes to mind.- KK1967
