NetGear FVS318 VPN to remote W2K client using IPSEC
Ok, so I haven't completely given up on forming a VPN connection with a XP box (client) on one end and a FVL328 on the other. In fact, I managed to get this working when using a preshared key. So the more I work with this the more I think that the Aggressive mode is my problem connecting to the FVL328. Does anyone out there with a 318 that is successfully connecting with WinXP know if the 318 is using Main mode or Aggressive mode for remote connections? And does anyone know if there...- mmaleit

I'm working on trying to get my Netgear FVL328 to accept a connection from windows XP. I can get it working with SoftRemote... now I want to know if there is any way to get it working for free? I followed the directions above (and from several other sources) to get the IPSec policy setup...- mmaleit
