I have Cisco VPN Client and SSH Sentinel 1.4 installed and working on my computer. But I have now discovered that the built-in VPN connections in Windows XP doesn't work anymore. It connects but there is no traffic.
If I uninstall SSH, the MS VPN works fine.... Pretty annoying...
I have found out that it actually works OK with a ISDN connection (adapter) but not with ADSL and a D-Link DI-714 or a Zyxel Prestige. Could this problem be NAT related?
I have set up several VPN connections to Zywall firewalls with SSH Sentinel clients before. This time I ran into a rather unexpected problem.
The tunnel establishes itself successfully, but there does not seem to be any traffic. I can't ping anything on the remote network.
Any ideas?
I have set up several Pix to Pix VPN tunnels, but I now have a problem. One office division cannot use DSL or other forms of broadband, so I want to use a pix501 (as a VPN hardware client)through a Cisco 801 ISDN router with a dial-up internet connection.
The router is configured, but I just...
I have set up Zywall to Zywall and Sentinel to Zywall VPN tunnels before, but I was wondering if it is possible to make a tunnel between a Zywall 2 and Microsoft ISA server.
In theory this should of course work, as the ISA server supports IPSEC? Does anyone know about any documentation on how...
I got the IOS ver. 12.2(15)T7 and still can't get the router to accept "crypto ipsec client ezvpn VPN" or "group <groupname> key <key>" in global or interface mode. Is the IOS still not correct? It's getting a bit frustrating this...
Is this version (T7) not a...
Aha! OK, I'll get a new ("T") IOS tomorrow and see if I'll get this to work. Would be fab if I could set up ISDN routers this way and configure the Pix as it's a regular Cisco VPN Client.
Thanx!
I am obviously on thin ice here, but I GOT to make this work. I am puzzled by especially one line here:
crypto ipsec client ezvpn VPN
It looks very "non-IOS", and in any case the 801 really don't like "client" very much... Am I missing something very obvious here?
Client mode, exactly. I want to make it very simple. The IOS is v12.3(1a) by the way (Pix 6.3(1)).
But then I need to put the router in a VPN group (like a Cisco VPN Client). Is that possible?
I have a 801 ISDN router that dials the ISP (dynamic) that I want to connect to a Pix 506 by creating a VPN tunnel. I have set up several tunnels to the 506 already, but with 501's with static addresses.
Does anyone have config examples of this scenario? I was wondering if I could just use DES...
