    Duncan, I've already tried what you suggested before posting and it didn't work! the weird thing is that Photoshop can display the thumbnail size, but can't open the whole file!

    I've done something unbelievably stupid: I saved a JPEG file from camera to RAW format on Photoshop 6 and now I can't open it! Please help me! on another issue, if I save something with photoshop on a Mac, can I open that file on a PC(with photoshop)?
