Thanks for the tip, the problem is the report is sorted by group, each group has its own total, so if the calculation runs over 2 or more pages, I need the total to show on the last page footer of the group but to be invisible on the other ones,
any ideas
I need to display the details total at the end of a record, i.e of the details run over two pages the total should show in the footer of the second page but not in the first(I've got round the total in the footer thing thanks to tek-tips) at the moment it is showing in the footer of all pages...
I am working on an application for creating purchase orders; but I cannot make the total field appear at the bottom of the report page, if the record spills over onto a second page the total then appears at the top of that page. I need to have the total always appearing at the bottom of the page...
