Practice questions
It depends. You can be prepared for information required but I don't know of a way to prepare for those questions. My favorite book to study was the Krutz and Vines "The CISSP Prep Guide". It got to the point much quicker than the Harris book. And for me was much easier reading...- RolandCowan

Endorsement?
You need an endorsement and the preferred is a CISSP but not required. After you pass ISC sends you the form that you send back to them. Good testing. Roland- RolandCowan

CISSP exam and training
For the most part I agree with Joe however the sites vary as to what is allowed in and the latrine breaks. I took the exam on the 10th of August in Scottsdale AZ and the hotel provided coffee, water,fruit, and pasteries.
