This is only used by the IT department, so it isn't a problem that they use the design mode, I was just trying to make it easier to access it. Besides, it needs to be saved as a query in the database in order to work in other parts of the database.

I want it to be a new query...
This isn't a sure-fire fix, but if you look through the properties in your form, there's a property called "DataEntry". This will keep users from being able to see any previous records, unfortunately their mouse wheel will still be able to scroll through any records they have put in...
Does anyone know if there is a way to open the design view of a new query by clicking on a command button? I'd like for an user to be able to make a query, without leaving the form interface.
Is what you're trying to say that you don't want users to be able to use their mouse wheel to scroll through the previous records? If this is correct, then are the users allowed to see the records at all, or should they just be data entry?

Is there a way to create a dynamic list of queries in a database to be called from say a combo box? I'm trying to create a form that launches queries, but that I don't have to update every time I create a new query.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
