I have an older copy of Solaris 2.6 on hand, would this be good enough to get booted into the system with? And if so, would it recognize the other Unix partition to get data off the system?
I have acquired an old Unix system, and do not have the administrator password. It will not boot all the way up, and I cannot get to a login. I understand that there is a way to use a bootdisk to boot to single user mode and reset the password, and fix the boot problem. It is on an older system...
