I also found out that problem is Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.61 related problem. Final solution for me was to update NAVCE client to version 7.61 44b.
After that I haven't had any problems (concerning this matter).

I've got those problems after I installed SP6a. And then I couldn't install Blasterworm update because of 'Couldn't determine system' -error.
I found that the fix tried to read registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ProductOptions.
That key was grayed out in REGEDT32...
