E8511 Failed to connect with Client Agent

Windows 2003 backup agent problem
Every time I kickoff a backup against a Windows 2003 Server machine the backup agent for windows (version 9) stops. Has anyone been successful using the backup agent for windows against a Windows 2003 Server?- tquigley
