    you might consider using the windows 2000 offline files (if applicable) and have this set to replicate only when the laptops netork card is active. its not the prettiest method...but it semi works.

    Hi again. more questions. we have two tape drives and two seperate back-up jobs. one job continualy goes above the capacity of the tape drive leading to veritas asking for a second tape. as we dont have 2nd tapes or tape loader, these jobs are cancelled more often than not. my question is...
