Dell latitude D600. Win XP pro SP2. Boot process will go through the Windows loading screen and then to a black screen with a working cursor butr nothing else. Same result in safwe mode. All hard drive activity stops at this point. Any ideas?
8560dn using ps driver. setup to 2-sided on long edge. After a long 2-sided print job, printer will no longer duplex. Tried resetting printer and duplex settings. Tried printing from different programs.
Turns out the 3rd hard drive I tried fixed the problem. What are the chances of 2 bad drives. Setup saw both drives, but would not boot. In desperation I took a known good drive from another computer. The first 2 drives came direct from Dell. Go figure.
I have tried 2 different drives. I can boot with the win xp install disk and it appears to be copying to the drive. Would you lean toward power supply?
When I start the computer it goes through bios check, screen goes blank for a second, the shuts down and starts over again. I can get into setup ok. Running XP pro sp2.
I have a laserjet 3005n that will not come out of sleep mode. If I turn ity off and right back on it will say initiallizing and them stop booting. If I leave it off for abot 15 minutes it will boot back up. As soon as it goes into sleep mode again, it locks up. Any ideas?
2 things to try. Use "admin" as the user with no password. If this does not work, use "3comcso" as user and RIP000 as password (case sensitive) This should reset user to default which is admin with no password.
We have several high execas that think it is ok to only look at their email about every 6 days. Is there any way I can see who has a great amount of unopened mail using exchange/
One other note. This computer connected to an unsecure wiereless network in rthe past. It is just when I added the wep key did it not connct to internet, but does see othe computer on wireless network
