IE6 and Downloading .exe files from the net.
If it is only .exe files, then read on and see if this is relevant: You may have an invalid plugin. Netscape-Style Plug-ins Do Not Work After Upgrading Internet Explorer [Q303401] http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q303/4/01.asp Remove the plugin with Regedit.exe...- Steve73

Downloading exe-files
Hi, I'm using MS IE 6.0. with win98. something is wrong in my registry. Normally, if I klick on a link to a exe-file, a dialog shows up, asking me if I want to save the file or directly open it. Since a longer time, this dosn't work anymore. I klick on the link an MS IE tries to directly open...- Steve73
