    websphere portal support red hat 8.0?

    SIDENOTE: I got V4.2 to run on RH8.0. I do think this is not a support platform by IBM though so you will have to stick to forums for help.

    Websphere Server Set-up

    WebSphere and DB2 can be on the same box. But you have to make sure that your box can handle both. It's probably slowing down/stopping because of the resources. SIDENOTE: Another culprit could be the connections you have set for DB2 and WAS or even the sql statements you have defined.
