Assuming that you are using AD, I would be surprised if it works. If you happen to test it and it works, post a reply that it does work because I would be interested in the redundancy as well.
I put the entry in as you said and it appears to be working fine now. I had some trouble testing it, but I think it was because I didn't restart DNS service each time I made a change. Thanks for the great input!
