Yes I have exactly the same issue on Seagate 06242 LTO1 tape drives, an L700 and NetBackup but only with certain tapes - batches from HP and Fuji but all manufactured identically (small flaw on the spindle). We solved it - NDMP drives are objecting to a single box of 20 tapes out of a batch of 500. Other 4 drives have no problem. -
