Hi gang,
I'm using Mappoint to plot cities in which X number of people are enrolled in a particular type of activity so that I can graphically display worldwide the levels of enrollment by city. So my list for location includes country and city and I am overlaying this with activity type...
Locale is defaulted to US so that is correct. Also, Tony, thx 4 the formula but it doesn't work. Dates are written 12-9-2006 for Septebmer 9,2006. I want to change it automatically to 9/12/2006. As I said, my above suggestion (Data->Text to columns etc...)works like a charm for single digit...
Thanks everyone. I think you misunderstood. The column entries had already been imported from another tool so December 12, 2006 in the European format was 29/12/2006. There is no way to change this via the usual Format->Cells. You do indeed have to ensure the format is 'General' however...
How do I by just selecting an entire column convert dates from british to american
eg. 30/9/2006 to 9/30/2006 without manually typing it in. Can't seem to do it by selecting Format-Cells-Date... because this only converts those where the day was originally a single digit i.e. it changes 4/5/2006...
Hi experts... I created a formula to convert dates into Quarters because we're trying to avoid buying the DigB add-in. Thing is I'm not sure how to have this formula skip the fields that are blank. Basically I want the formula to read the entire column, pick out dates (which it will read in the...
Cisco 802.1x standard wireless cards. Wireless is infrastructure mode i.e. integrated with existing LAN using various access points (all Cisco) throughout the building. Clients are majority WINXP Pro with service pack 2. The main problem is clients picking up the other access points instead...
Hmn... interesting. Could you explain what you mean by firmware? Also, we recently noticed that the Wireless monitor snap-in does not show as an option to add in the MMC. Why wouldn't it be there? Finally, beyond the IP address problem, we have our users associating to another access point in...
Hi,
We're implementing wireless at the office and have set up the user access list etc... Two problems: 1) People who have been configured can pick up the signal but don't receive an IP address from our remote DHCP server 2) People who have been configured do pick up signal AND the IP...
Hey, thanks for the input. After much guess work I eventually solved the problem. Well I still don't know how we would 'control the growth' of the ntfrs.jdb file however I moved it to a partition that has much more space than our SYSTEM partition. Default location for ntfrs.jdb is always...
Hmmnn.. thanks for this. On the main menu I have the following options: File, View, Options Help
Under View:- Only Status Bar is enabled
Under Options:- I see Configuration, Services and Proactive Backup (which is disabled but it was always disabled from when I installed the software and I...
Client agent is installed. How do I check if it is functioning properly. I have only verified the service was running (as I mentioned above). Other ideas?
:-)
I started getting this message in my backup activity logs about 3 weeks ago even though nothing in the system, vis-a-vis the backup software installation, changed. Data is nevertheless backed up. Also, I only receive this message on the root domain controller (only 2 out of the 4 dc's we have...
Hello,
How do I keep my ntfrs.jdb file (registers all replication transactions) from growing out of control? Please see my first entry. Any tips, even if you think they might not be useful, will be of use to me. Thanks!
File is located under C:\WINNT\ntfrs\jet.

I had suspected that it is database corruption. Does that mean that we should install fresh? People here are too lazy to reinstall and think that there is some other 'patch' to solve the problem. If they are right please let me know. By the way, the only remote manager is terminal server...
This has been happening for months and occurs regardless of the tape that is in the machine. We change the tapes daily i.e. have jobs that run on odd days and on even days. So it has nothing to do with the tape but rather the installation of ArcServe. More ideas? They are all very welcome!
:-)
What kind of messages are you getting in the Application Log of Event Viewer on the local machine (i.e. here is where you will get more information on what exactly is going on when jobs are being sent to the printer)? You can also check the same log in Event Viewer on the print server. I bet...
