Win2k and NetWare 5.1 DNS - no rush
Have you tried opening TCP port 53 as well? I know this should not have an effect, but I have seen where this has affected systems in strange ways. Just a suggestion *Mick*- No1shome

DNS newbie question...
On Question 2: You can do a redirect through a virtual web server, but not through DNS. DNS can only point an address to a IP address , not to a URL. So, to accomplish this, you would: Point forums.domain.com to IP address 1.2.3.4 On Server 1.2.3.4 you would redirect forums.domain.com to...- No1shome

List of DNS errors... can anyone show me how to fix?
You are OK on both these counts. The first is telling you that your mail server does not answer to the name you have it DNSed to. This is quite common with virtual hosts. You server seems to echo the name domain.com in the SMTP banner when it is DNSed to mail.domain.com. Nothing to worry about...- No1shome
