don't know if the format is the problem. try using a tiff (.tif) image instead. might be in your render settings . try turning off "field render". either way I'm just guessing here as I don't know your definition of "messed up". <g>

Also I noticed that it happens more if I'm working with a clip captured in a higher resolution than the project is. It may have something to do with Premiere having
