Be shure that you have downloaded the full-archiv (More than 500MB). I downloaded it allready successfully and started the upgrade a few minutes ago...

BEWS 10 will be available in Q1 of 2005. I suggest you to buy BEWS 9.1 with Maintenance, this means you can use all new versions for 1 year...

I work with BE since XX years. I think, it's one of the better products in the market! Yes of course, BE has problems, but also ArcServe or HP has problems...
The interesting thing will be to test the new version of BE, version 10. It will be release at Q1 from 2005.
Work with the Tool SGMON (http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/190979.htm). This will gather all the information form BEWS. When this error occurs again, maybe you will find the cause in this logfile...

Did you also dedirect the mailbox with using the "Users Alias Name" as new name? Exchange 5.5 has problems to "find" the right mailbox... I could solve it with this!
Can you restore it to another users mailbox?
Try to use the "Mailbox redirection" and type the SMTP Name of the user. I had this effect also on a customers place and the problem could be solved with this redirection...
