    promiscous mode on AIX

    Hi all, I'm using AIX 4.3.3 on a RS/6000 and have installed the intrusion detection system "snort" on it. The problem is, that the NIC must be in "promiscous mode" to get all the network traffic but the ifconfig-command under AIX doesn't seem to support the promisc-option...
