Hi
The printer definition file is in the OracleX\ReportsXX\Printers\*.prt
There you must have a dflt1.prt file so as to execute the report
In this file the height and width of the page are included (mostly in Character Mode reports)
You can change in the user parameters of your report the name...
I think that the following query is right
SELECT
a.emplid,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.EMPL_RCD,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.EFFDT,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.EFFSEQ,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.DEPTID,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.JOBCODE,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.POSITION_NBR,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.POSN_CHANGE_RECORD,
SYSADM.PS_JOB.EMPL_STATUS...
The following query will give you the max salary per name or null if there is none in the B Table
select A.NAME, A.ADDR, MAX(B.SALARY)
from A, B
where A.NAME = B.NAME (+)
GROUP BY A.NAME, A.ADDR;
The salary for the max year of name is
select A.NAME, A.ADDR, MAX(B.SALARY)
from A, B
where...
The query you wrote will not give you the MemberId - Score result...
abc 9 (batch 3)
xyz 9 (batch 2)
asdf 6 (batch 1)
but this query will probably do the job
select mamberid, score from data_table DT
where year=2002
and batch = (select max(batch) from...
spool <filename>
select 'insert into t values
('||''''||t1||''''||','||''''||t2||''''||
','||''''||t3||''''||');' from t;
spool off
This will create the <filename> file in which
you will find the script for the creation of
all the records of t.
I hope this helps
John
