    Hello Larry and Sushveer, Thanks for your input: i am not finished yet with this pending matter but i was able to move forward and know pretty wel how to close the call. I was able to expand the size up to AIX 4.3 maximum. So once again, thanks. Christian

    Hello all, I need te reduce a jfs file system size (/copy) and extend the size of another one (/data). However i receive the following message: >chfs -a size=20000000 /copy >chfs: 0506-908 Cannot reduce size of file system. Thanks in advance. chris
