Hello Bandit39 Thanks for replying, its interesting that 2 completely different MB's are doing the same thing with the only commonality being the Radeon 9700. Thanks Kylebellamy for your suggestion, but my power supply was one of my first suspects so I replaced it with an Enermax 450 W Supply, still beeps in 3D mode. I also have a power smoothing UPS installed to ensure steady power. I thought of over-temperature, but my case has 5 cooling fans and...- Sebastes

Radeon 9700 on Gigabyte 8KNXP Beeps in 3D Only
For some strange reason my Computer starts beeping after about 5 minutes of operating any 3D game. It quits as soon as I go back to 2D mode. There doesn't seem to be any set pattern to the beeping. It doesn't seem to affect the games, but it is annoying. Is the MB trying to tell me something...- Sebastes
