you should check the smb.conf(5) wich is the offical manual fo the samba configuration file, and change the comments in the public section, where you give acces to users.- anthonyassi

once you mount them to your win os system, why don't you try to uncheck the read-only check box. on on linux: chmod 777 //folder_name- anthonyassi
