we have 5 machines all connecting to a router which has broadband.. all machines apart from one are connected.. the machine has windowsxp home installed.. the network cabling is fine.. the network card is fine... its just the xp machine will not pick up the network. any ideas suggestions...

i have worked it out now :) one more question.. which render options preserve transparency as i am having trouble outputing as transparent...

my aftereffects file is made up of lots of layers from different files... i am confused as how to make the alpha layer... if i want the entire background transparent... how can i select color range.. then delete the color range? do i have to make the alpha layer on all of these or just one?

how can i make the background transparent in aftereffects? i have turned off the temp white background i made which i thought would leave a transparent background, but it didnt... how can i make a transparent background?.. please help.. any thoughts appreciated! :)
