    Cat 4003 + Trunk Ports

    Try this command.. gc-sw> (enable)set trunk 2/7 off dot1q to remove the port 2/7 from trunking. Then use the command gc-sw>(enable)set vlan 40 2/7 for assigning the port to vlan 40.
