    Product key on bottom - why does it not work?

    I tried it with the Volume Licese CD I have. I also tried changing the CD to retail. So I tried retail, OEM and Volume. I didn't try student, but there is no way this key can be student. Thats why I find it so strange. It did not work with 3 different CD types.

    pcanywhere configuration

    Yes, you need to map the routable ip obtained by your router to the private ip your pc has. Basically you tell your router to open ports 5632 and 5632 and forward requests on those ports to the internal IP of your pc. Then on the remote host, tell pcAnywhere to connect on the routable IP.
