thankyou all,
It is an Exact phrase stating vitual memory low.It is not an error message though it comes in the form of a 'speech bubble' from the start bar.
thankyou anyway. I'll have to dip into my pockets for updated office.
what do I need to beware of if I am buying a cheap usb hard drive to work on between 2 XP OS machines. Are there going to be grief for me doing this.
Thanks
Graeme
I have just added office '97 to my XP OS computer. I keep getting 'virtual memory too low' message and the desktop goes extremly jerky now and again. I have tried letting windows run my virtual memory and I have raised the value and tried that. Any ideas.
Thanks
Graeme
