Hi Carloz !! if you had installed any software try uninstalling it from safemode and restart and then try shutdown. if this doesnt work Then uninstall if you have any anti-virus software, restart and try to shutdown or if you have Norton just disable the Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect feature...- techq
